I want to get into Modding.

Where do I get Scotch Brand Green 233+ for cutting cases and protecting the surface and Scotch 4010 Tape of the gods for window mods? It's what Bill Owen recommends but I can't seem to find it in the UK.

What i use is just masking tape and double sided tape sadly though Scotch brand tapes are easy to get hold of in the uk. Yea dan is talking about the stuff i mean good stuff really.

Thanks for the quick reply.

What about files what kind do I need? as I'm planning to cut my case up for better cable management.

they should do the job just fine but i would advice using some blowhole around the edge after filing it, so it doesn't have as much of a chance to damage any of the cables and it should look slightly nicer too

Some of my tools have arrived but I am still waiting on Bosch PSR 18 Cordless Drill + Holesaw, Bosch PST 700 PE Jigsaw, Heatgun, File set, Pop Rivet Gun, Sunbeam Molex Extractor and some glasses with gloves.

I don't understand how I would use the u channel around holes that I cut?

Its not sticky or that flexible I reckon I will struggle to do a circle with it.

By not sanding your holes, there should be a burr and therefore, when the u-channel is pushed in, it should stick because of the burr being jagged and all.

At what speed should I be using the dremel on a antec 900 as the wheel runs out too quick on the max speed (35k) and should I be seeing a lot of sparks?

its my first time using tools like these so I don't know much.

I have but I have consumed 2 discs on a small cut so I assume i'm doing something wrong or I shouldn't use the max speed (35k)

Also the slightest bend in ur shape when ur cutting will snap that disc. Also remenber to get urself some reenforced cutting disc you should have been given them they are best for cutting (however they are only really needed for the steel parts of a case (sadly all of urs is steel, well i think it is, dont have time to check myself))
