I feel sorry for the people who can't comprehend that he did it purely to help someone, without any thought of personal gain, and therefore assume he did it and subsequently posted about it to make himself look good.

I mean, how far gone are you that you can't recognise a simple act of kindness for what it is?

Nor do I mate. These forums have become like a after school WoW trade chanel off late. The less time you spend there the better.

Its funny how we're the ones getting called monkeys even when they think all northerners are geordies, to think thats where all the people with power are in our country, no wonder its all going wrong

I'll tell you what really worries me. If people act different on the internet and decide to act like they're feckless, then fine.

But if these people geniuinely wouldn't do something for someone in life 'just because' (as this man did in the game) then it says a little something about society :/

Can't beat the dumb American kid I ended up PUGing with in Guild Wars a while back. When I told him I was from England, he said "Oh, do you know my bud Charlie, he's from England?"!

Even after I'd explained that we have a population of around 60 million the cretin couldn't understand why I didn't know his mate. So I asked him what part of England this Charlie came from and he said "Scotland"!
