What have you changed the voltage to for 4Ghz? Is it still at stock? I realise screenies show different voltages but wondered if they were accurate with this cpu?
4.5Ghz please
You going to push it tonight or take it in easy steps.
Indeed, this is a full retail chip right?
Edit: At idle, how come it hasn't clocked down? Are you running with speedstep disabled?
That seems like very cool temps for 1.32v compared to other reviews. Most of those were 3770k's so if the 3570k can do this then the 3570k looks much better for overclocking.
1 thing to note is that the OP stated that Prime lasted for 20 minutes before it failed.
.
Any more testing stulid? really looking forward to more results, as Monday approaches I need to make a firm decision whether to buy or not, I'll be happy if it is totally stable at 4.5Ghz-4.6 at low volts and temps but I have not seen any real reports of this yet.
Is heat causing the problem (when the voltage is pushed higher)?
So, in your opinion what would be the highest stable 24/7 overclock, for your particular CPU? 4.4Ghz?
So if you had the choice which would you go for in my position, I have a z77 board all ready, 2500k or 3570k?
What kinda temps are you pulling currently at 4.6Ghz Stulid? isn't 1.35v and 4.6Ghz still with in the "reasonable" tempratures for IB?
