i5 3570K quick test.

4Ghz (turbo disabled, ratio set to 40X, thats it), walk first before you run;)

4.5ghz, bclk sorted so its 100mhz exactly and not that silly .9 extra.

Prime95 kept failing early on, or a Bluescreen and restart.

Tweaked the Vcore two notches more 1.320 set in the BIOS, LLC set to high.

Finally got Prime95 to do 20mins (obviously thats still not considered stable but I usually find that a worker stops within 10minutes if there is an issue)

Not used burntest, and to be honest I need to flash the BIOS to the latest version (current got F5 on it) and have to crack on with a few other things to do with this board, will be revisiting my OC and hoping to tweak it properly to maybe reduce the Vcore one notch or two etc.

Also want more than 4.5Ghz :D

That seems like very cool temps for 1.32v compared to other reviews. Most of those were 3770k's so if the 3570k can do this then the 3570k looks much better for overclocking.

For reference my 2500K @4.5Ghz using the same cooler averaged 52.75c across the cores running Prime.

The average of the 3570K on the previous page is 56.5c

Different boards were used though.

Could just be a **** chip?

And after owning a 2500K that was 5Ghz+ (ran SuperPI at 5.2Ghz), could have gone higher if was a brave man with the Vcore.

I guess I was expecting the same.

What kinda temps are you pulling currently at 4.6Ghz Stulid? isn't 1.35v and 4.6Ghz still with in the "reasonable" tempratures for IB?

prime95 has been going for over half an hour now(I usally have issues around 10minutes if it's going to stop)

temps recorded,

max 64,71,70,64

current temps right now are low to mid 60's
