Unless I have done something wrong with the 2500K score, then the above is correct.

The 2500K was when it was on a GA-Z68XP-UD4, the 3570K is on a UD5H.

If you are upgrading from something old (Core Duo, Athlon X2, X4, etc) then its silly not to jump on the Ivybridge bandwagon if the price isnt bad.

If you have a 2500K/2600K already, dont bother.

If the 2500K/2600K get back to the price they were last summer (2500K@£155) then get one of those.
 
Its not hot, thats average.

You've read this thread and the overclocking thread and online reviews to know that these chips are toasty and 90c+ isnt unheard off

But do run Prime95 for longer than a minute..
