Gaming and general use won't ever reach those temps, so yeh you could stick with the settings i guess, but most wouldn't be happy to, its all personal choice really.
The only thing that would happen is it would over heat, and then it would throttle down the speed to get things running cooler again, its a safety feature.
Coolers that i would reccomend are The first 2 require u to use your own fans, or buy some at the same time.
The below coolers will easily take those temps down to sub 80, maybe even 70, really all depends on case airflow also.
