IBC Tank Rainwater Harvesting

Trying to get hold of one or two of these. Been a total joke so far.

There appear to be no local sellers, and all the nationals I've spoke to are not interested in selling such small quantities.

Can anyone recommend someone? I'm based in Cornwall and would need delivery.

Really hard to find anything below £40 near me, just some iffy ones at £25.
One alternative is to use loft water tanks, they go for pennies after people update their central heating.

In the US they dig a hole, concrete the sides and use that as a water tank. You could do the same if say you had an area of decking doing nothing. Less output pressure though.

That's cheap. I'm probably buying one for £80, and that's the cheapest I can get them down here.

Oof, I'd be offsetting the petrol costs against finding something further afield at those prices.

Well everything costs a shedload down here :p Hiring a van would cost me £60 - £100 for a day anyhow, before considering fuel.

They don't call it 'Rip-Off Cornwall' for nothing :p

This is nuts. I've spent a lot of this week getting quotes. For a single IBC (delievered to Cornwall), most companies are quoting £150 - £200 after VAT. That's for 2nd hand, not new!

Yet in this thread and elsewhere people are talking about getting them for £25 - £40? I've scoured eBay too and most sellers are asking £100 for delivery alone...

In Devon they are £25 (ebay 271256625946)
as for transport, if I find one then it's getting strapped to the roof bars on my estate.
I could probably get four on my trailer but that means getting the wheels checked over first (and fitting the towbar I forget I bought)

Maybe you could borrow a freinds car for the day?
