The commentators on Star Cricket are mocking Strauss's field placings, saying it might be better for England if Aus take the powerplay so England are forced to put the fielders in more sensible positions. How is Anderson supposed to get a wicket for god's sake.

But by two batsmen in the second innings! Your boys got the best of the pitch while it was still fresh, mate - and our bowling attack was hardly a blitzkrieg.

I thimk you have this backwards.

The aussies had the best bowling conditions.

Not to say that made any difference to be honest.

Jimmy Anderson our best bowler?

If that is true we are in the ****.

If it don't swing he is average at best.

The best batsman in my life of cricket is,,,,,,, Mr Ponting, and that includes MR Lara who i never rated that much because he played in the era of **** bowlers, when he got his runs.

Woah what just happened there??...oh i forgot England got their backsides handed to them yet again by the Aussies....what a second partnership though...250 odd runs...some record by Punters and Watson, whos been in awesome form this match...took 2 wickets and scored 136 not out...totally destroyed the ginger nuts economy rate ie Collingwood i mean...a complete and utter demolition job.

So its the Aussies in the final...hopefully pakistan will roll over NZ fingers crossed...i want some revenge from the other day when we just got beat by the Aussies

...although if the Aussies play the way they did today then i dont hold much hope for Paks
