ICC Champions trophy SA **Spoilers**

That really was a pleasure to watch. Two Australian batsmen have just dominated the entire English team.

There can be no doubt about Punter's leadership now.

I wouldn't get too carried away about that. He lost two Ashes series in England in succession, the first Aussie captain for a century to do so.

I think England being crap had more to do with it.

He then went on to make history again by beating England in 6 successive ODI matches and two ICC Championship matches, reaching his 12,000th ODI run and breaking two records in the process. I think that's more than enough to get carried away about.

What has Strauss done since the Ashes? Won a single ODI against Australia, and sod all else. Pfffft.

Sure they were; no argument there. But each dog had his day; your boys performed brilliantly in the first, while we floundered. Then the tables were turned.

You have to at least give us credit for an outstanding partnership. That wasn't simply the result of "England being crap."

Sadly today wasnt their day...honestly id rather have England in the final if Pakistan wins tommorrow...for some odd reason we like England cant beat the Aussies:p. Pakistan would have stood a better chance of beating the English than they would against the Aussies..

But saying that England did far better than they were meant to...i didnt expect them to get to the semis let alone win a match but they did...just today wasnt their day...they made an excellent recovery to post 257 after being 6 wickets down for 100 odd runs.

Funny thing is that someone asked me the other day out of all the captains in cricket at the moment...who would i have in my team...without even thinking i said Ponting...sure hes lost 2 Ashes series in a row but i think hes made up for it in more than one way now...soundly thrashing England 6-1 in the ODI series and tonight just obliterating everything England threw at him and Watson, who i have to say finally managed to get past 50:p

Have I ever said otherwise :) I think England were lucky to win the Ashes, I don't think they were the better side and I think the ODI matches since have shown that painfully clearly. I recognise that one day is a different form of the game, but even bearing that in mind.

I'm sorry, but can I stop you there.

If you're going to start bringing into account an ICC Championship victory against us from 3 years ago, against one from this year, can I bring into account the England womens team? It's just that, I thought there was a line, and you just stepped right across it.

Er, mate? I wasn't referring to an ICC Championship victory against you from 4 years ago.

I was referring to the two ICC Championship victories we've enjoyed against you this year. We met you twice in the ICC Championship, and we beat you both times. How did you get the idea that I was referring to a match 3 years ago?

And yes, your women's team totally lathered ours this year. Well played. :)

England and Aus only played once this year, where are you getting the other game from?

Hmm, just checked the fixtures table, and you're absolutely right. That's weird. I must have got England confused with another team at some stage. Well then, I stand corrected. Sorry about that.

Paks playing NZ now...Pak won the toss so batting first...should be a high scoring match...hopefully Pakistan will win...fingers crossed:p

I don't mind who wins today, I just hope the team more likely to beat Australia wins as nobody wants Australia to win the tournament do they? ;)

Well already 2 wickets down for 69 runs...so hopefully Pakistan will win this but hey need to make a big big score.

****!!!!!! another wicket gone...bunch of ******s:(

69-3

Already 4 wickets down...Pakistan showing their absolute ineptness as usual...oh well at least Umer Akmal is in...hopefully him and Yousef can get a decent partnership going...we need to get over 300 at least or close to it for us to be able to bowl NZ out.

You weren't showing any ineptness when you played Australia... you mongrels. :p

We did by letting you convicts win off the last ball:p

150-4 off 37 overs....thats inept batting but then its nothing new to be expected from Pak...just dont know what team is going to show up...at this rate we will be lucky to get 200 if anything.

NZ bowling very well though...
