ICH9 vs ICH10 for RAID0 SSD?

Anyone got some good info on what the performance limitations of ICH9 are vs ICH10 with a two or three drive drive SSD raid? All the talk and benchmarks seems to be about how ICH10 is fine, but I haven't seen anything on ICH9.

I only have 2 Sammys on my ICH9 controller, I'm seeing no limitations. I guess you need somebody with an X38 or P35 board and a few Vertex's.

I think the trouble you might find is that people who can afford 2-3 SSD's probably have newer everything including mobo's.

I have a Blacklops mobo and im tempted to buy three Vertex to RAID 0 but i dont know weather it would be worth it or not on an X48 ICH9 :S

Intel released a new ICHxR driver quite recently which apparently has inceased performance for the SSDs, if you have a look in the OCZ forum you will find references to it...
