I'm wanting to buy an Icy Box IB-360AStUS (the external hard drive enclosure which takes both IDE and SATA drives, and converts them to USB2.0 or eSATA). I'll be needing to use it on Linux - does anyone know whether they are supported (I'm using Ubuntu).

I can't seem to find much info on the manufacturer website. I'm assuming it should work, right?

Icybox is urrmmm, a box :) with a USB, Sata, Firewire connection (in whatever variation) and a PCB to use power and the data on the hard drive installed.

I cannot see for a second why it wouldn't work!
