I have two Icybox IB-390StUS-B enclosures I purchased from here. The PSU for one failed rather too quickly so I have been only using one at a time and ensuring to remove the power from the supply when not in use in the remaining one. Then I went and used that hard drive to provide projected visuals at a party and proceeded to lose the supply, giving me no way to power them.
Does Overclockers UK stock replacement power supplies for these?
If not can anybody confirm this looks correct? (I'm not at home to check the unit myself.) It states it's for the Icybocy IB-350/360/361, no mention of the 390 at all, so worried it might not be suitable. Obviously I can't provide a link, as it's from a competitor of this site, but I have uploaded the image of the connector to my own Photobucket account so at least somebody can at least let me know if that looks correct.
I also have an Icybox IB-284StU-B and it does not appear to work with my laptop, the LED flashes on and off. I am assuming this is probably related to required power?? Is a desktop replacement laptop and never had any USB power issues before though....
