**ID COOLING GIVEAWAY**

He followed the rules. He basically owns it as he bought it. Some can be seen as obvious second computers and they barely look able to run games also the cooler would not fit.

The next competition will have better and more clear instructions to hopefully avoid any disappointments or disagreements.

Again thanks to everyone for entering and we will have another give away in the next 7-10 days.

Hi,

So the competition has ended and the winner of the Cooler has been picked by the department. We think no one should be using a stock cooler. We are also hoping that this is genuine and not just for the photos.

So the winner is @jbh110tdi.

Runner up prize of an OCUK mouse mat and mug will go to @MatsyLR.

Thanks everyone for entering and hopefully we will have other competitions coming up for more chances to win some coolers.

Please can the winners email me in trust the following details:

Trust sent. some good news this week for me thanks OcUk I promise ill do a review as soon as I get chance.

Well done jb (and OCUK). I hope that it goes well. I am personally not disappointed though as the AMD stock cooler is a very capable one and I would have been impelled (fans, get it :D ) to strip it down again to fit the cooler.

Thanks Andy. and yea my lads machine has been running with a stock cooler since I built it.

His system gets used by the full family and were planning on using it as the vr machine after xmas so this should help keep it nice and cool.
and pics lots of pics please..

I knew i should have dragged that stock cooler out .. :)

on a plus side, Fractal sent me a warranty replacement for the one that leaked :)
I will get pictures up and results up. Ive got a mate that loves to do hardware videos so ill talk nice to him to come up and help me with a video review

Thanks, post pictures when you get it! :D
It arrived today not had chance to install it yet. Ill hopefully get chance to get it fitted tonight and will post up some results.

Im still tempted to see how it performs on the 4790k@ 4.6Ghz against the big air cooler in my system.
If it does well it might push me to buy a second one for my system.

So I got chance to have a play. I had it in my system and ran it against the Phanteks PH-TC14PE with the 4790k running at 4.6Ghz

CPU Idle temps were up a few c with the AIO but the GPU ( 980ti ) were down a few c
I ran Heaven and CPU temps were identical between the 2 coolers ( 49c ) but the 980ti ran 2c lower
during a 15 minute run of realbench the Phanteks won its highest reading was 76c where as the Id cooling AIO managed to see 84c and was a bit louder than the Phanteks PH-TC14PE.
I used the same fan curve for both coolers I would be interested to see if different fans would make a difference.
as for the cooler its self. it looks lovely fitted and is fairly straight forward to fit. It does have a quality feel about it.

here it is fitted to into the lads machine. It was a tight fit in his case but the main problem was the high heat sinks on the ram... now removed..
