Ideas on how to raise monitor height?

My p2450 has vesa mounts on the back, its just four holes in a square configuration on the back of the monitor....failing that then yellow pages

Nothing like it :(

if the desk is against the wall, how about a shelf to sit the monitor on?

also you are turning into a proper gamer. lol, a logitech mouse, illuminated keyboard, 24" monitor and a SB system, that is a nice system

Work in progress, and poor phone camera.

As you can see the shelves on the wall may cause a problem.

So if I install a shelf for monitor, it will look silly. As will be about 5 inches higher than the desk.

I only need like it 5 inches higher.

And thanks for the comments, first compliment :)

Jesus guys, c'mon now :)

Three bits of plank wood, measrued width to be a few inches wider than your base!

Two bits would be around 4 or 5 inches high, the other length long enough to accomodate your base!!!

Four or six wood screws, fit the two shorter bits to the base of the longer bit and you have a shelf :) lol

Serously though mate, should take you less than ten minutes to make it :)

what i did at uni were i needed more elevation (~8"0, i put three rolls of toilet paper on their sides and put the monitor on that :)

I used to use a chess board upside down cos it matched the colour of my desk :D Now I have a dell ultrasharp with reasonable stand that you can adjust height easily :)
