Yup seems so, although from the bug I saw seems to be the "Varied carpet beetle"..
i only know because we had them a few years ago , not in our bed though thats disgusting!
i think they used to breed under our fridge and along the gap between the carpet and the skirting boards!

they tend to be active at night and early in the morning so i used to go around with the hoover sucking them up and stabbing the ones that were in the gap where the carpet meets the skirting board.

the beetles can fly so check the tops of your curtain , in my house they used to be atracted to the yellow curtains in my pc room and every morning i would find 1-2 beetles on them.

check under your fridge and any furniture to see if they are breeding anywhere else , you should see the skins the grubs have sheded as they grow like snake skins.

in our house they seemed to breed under the fridge.

it took me about 3 years to totaly get rid mind! they seemed to come back every year but less and less , ant powder from wilkinsons works to kill them if you are very generous with it

i used to coat along the skirting boards with it as that was mainly where they would crawl at night

south american urethra bug , found in all sorts of cotton fibres imported from cotton pickin countries.

they crawl inside the urethra going on the scent and lodge inside and steadily block the passage of urine.

they can not be removed with out amputation of the infected limb.

looks like u have a bad case of it thats a biggy.....

I sometimes find them on the wall and dusty places. I need to clean the place up good.

Varied Carpet Beetle

They're harmless to Humans but will consume cloth, felt, cotton and other natural fibers etc.,

They tend to live in cracks / edges of carpets and love warm places. At this time of year you will find the adult, which looks like a tiny brown/white/black chequered ladybird on window sills.

There are a few insecticides on the market which will wipe them out. Hoovering thoroughly between any cracks in the floorboards / skirting boards and carpet edges is recommended as well.

They do moult as they grow leaving behind a dead carapace and according the wikipedia article take between 1 and 3 years to mature into the beetle form.
