Microsoft will release the final build of IE7 today to customers, with the company expected to push the build by automatic updates on 1st November.

At the moment there is no link on Microsoft.com, but Yahoo has the final build bundled with Yahoo Mail. All you need to do is download the Yahoo edition and use WinRAR to extract the files and run IE7-Setup.exe

:D

It's the full final, screenshots coming shortly after a reboot.

The same final version will be rolled out in automatic update as of 1st Nov but also available from MS website some time today accordingly. Yahoo have their version out already but to not use the yahoo crap simply follow the above

No, that's why you have to extract it first with WinRAR to make sure you get the plain IE7 rather than Yahoos edited one.

...urm, is it any good? I've only used Firefox for the last year.

Nothing special really. Better than IE6 though.

Done it - thanks buddy - the Winrar trick did just the thing :).

Using Firefox RC3 at the moment though - I don't think I'll be switching back to IE but certainly it is an improvement so I do want this installed.

I am happy with FF 2.0 atm, will see if this is any better though.
Will try this out.
I liked the beta IE 7. Only problem I had with them was that they didn't save my cookies for most of my sites I visited, even though I enabled it!

I also cannot use it as MS have not updated a lot of their websites, especially the partner site...

But I have to say it certainly runs a lot better on the laptop I put it on this afternoon...
