I honestly have no idea where I'd go, would have been amazing to see the "I have a dream" speech, or maybe go watch the 1966 world cup final.

I'd go so far back in time that I go past the point where time began which would bring me into the future :cool:

(Then I'd buy a time machine with a blueprint and bring it to now so that I can time travel as I please)

Before making any decisions, how are we treating this? If you go back in your machine to a certain time, are you going to sort something out then return to the present - or will you then be stuck there and "live on" from that point?

Apologies for pedantry, but this would strongly influence choices.

Theoretically your money now would be worth more...that's if they recognise some of it due to having newer dates on them

You travel back, you could change something and come back to the present, or you could stay there up to you.

I'd like to go back to two two times: first to 1969 when men were landing on the moon for the first time (to experience a life changing event and co-incidentally also the day of my birth) and then on to when I was 18. I'd spend a few hours trying to give my younger self all the knowledge and wisdom I've gained in those 21 years since.
