If you could have any GPU, which one would you want and why.

if we are taking most remembered, influential on me personally. then it would be the 3dfx voodoo 2. my first graphics accelerator, i remember glide in nfs 3 hot pursuit looked unbelievable! changed my life, in a way ;)

Titan, for obvious reasons!

Ok maybe not so obvious, i want the 6GB mem and this is why, i play loads of Skyrim, mods cane the memory like crazy and i want as much overhead as possible

Watercooled Asus matrix or MSI lightning 8970 without any stupid techonolgies like BOOST!
But gtx 880 matrix or lightning would be ok as well.

Surely a more suitable question would be 'in your history as a pc enthusiast, which graphics card did you want to of own the most and why?'. Everybody will just answer titan or a more expensive card because they are the best out now.

So my input is: 8800 GTX. I really wanted one of those to play crysis when it was released. It decimated every game out there on release and was more than twice as fast as the previous generation. Thankfully i got an 8800GT in 2008 which i was more than happy with but i had to play crysis on an x1950 GT on medium/low. Still had a blast and it remains one of my favourite games.

ANY GPU huh?

Provided it is still PCI-E 2.0/3.0 or at least backward compatible, the top-end single GPU card from either Nvidia or AMD 10 years from the future (along with working, problem-free drivers for Windows 7)...if PC gaming will survive for that long that is...

I would like a 7990 and would kick it every now and then...To be fair, I think I would do that with every AMD card I got for free :D
