theres a lot that either dont really need updating (grim fandango, DOTT etc), or have had sequels which have done it for them e.g. civ, red alert, wolfenstein 3d.

Wouldnt mind seeing Duke Nukem 3D made with great graphics- used to love that game.

All of the above. If i listed all games it would be an essay. I left of ones with recent sequals, like C&C golden axe etc. I guess i may have gone over the top though... :)

Tbh most of those classic games dont need remaking. What Id have liked to see was a discussion on games that couldve been great that failed and should be remade.

Examples of this:
Sid Meier's Pirates- very fun, just add some "point" and some more stuff to do.
Empire Total War- I have the box, played the game for about 10 minutes total though :(
Star Wars Galaxies- The premise of MMO sounds great, the games are normally awful.
