I can't believe anyone wouldn't pick wine. Though I would say that a lot of people haven't actually really tried decent wine.

I can't believe the majority of people consider beer to be manlier than spirits. Real men drink whiskey. Straight.

I can almost gaurentee that the majority of people who voted for beer don't even drink a decent pint.

Lager isn't real beer!

I drink real ale. As in Cask Ale from little known breweries in my local real ale pub. I do drink lager too though :/

Have I said ale enough there? Ale, Ale, Ale. And I am not even drunk :o

Yeah. That's not so bad. It's people who drink only lager that I don't understand. Each to their own I guess.

Personally I've never had any particular lager and wanted another one. To me, they're almost completely tasteless. For example Budweiser, I really don't understand how you could want to drink a beer that barely tastes like one.

The only beers I enjoy are bitters and real ales. I'm partial to the odd stout/Guinness now and then but it's never my first choice. At least it tastes of something.

The human digestive system is an effective way of turning real ale into lager.

You sir have never tried a proper lager then. Protip: nothing you can buy in this country can ever be considered a proper lager because the market just isn't here so it never gets made. Go to Bavaria and try some real lagers they are really nice. Example when in Copenhagen (yeah I know its not Bavaria but whatever) I tried some draught Carlsberg. Now in this country Carsberg tastes like warm tramps **** that has been diluted in pond water, i agree. However from the tap in its homeland it is a delicious nectar and I wish it was like that over here. BOO Lager louts ruining a fine family of beers for the rest of us.

Thats why in this country I stick to real ale and imported Belgian beers.

Beer because after a long days work I like to come home and chillax in front of the tv. I would miss wine sauces in meals and spirirts in deserts etc.
