If you pay for 5 minutes to inflate your tyres - how long would you expect to inflate them for?

yes the traditional thumb catch connectors are a pain to get on and off w/o leaking air, especially with the way the way the valve stem access is poor via my wheels (do the brass clip ons require more clearance)

Does everyone open the valve momentarily with a finger nail before filling to eject any dirt ?

Both our cars came with a lighter socket powered electric pump as part of the 'no you can't have a spare tyre' kits - also held onto one from a old written off car as its easier to use that than pack the darn thing back together...

My foot pump has a thumb catch quick release connector. I find I can disconnect it quickly without losing too much air if I release it and simultaneously pull it away from the valve at the same time.

I always check the pressure after with a digital pressure gauge anyway so if I am struggling I can just over inflate then use the pressure gauge to let out air until it’s down to the required pressure.

nothing again on netflix - subsequently watched youtube on catch types -
winner is £50 ! - but will have to look to see how many jaws mine has , since many may give less wear on the valve threads,
mine aren't tpms so perhaps degradation less important ?

I got the ring one recently but the version with a battery. You can stgill use the cig lighter if out of charge but will do several tyres on a full charge. Best thing ever
Micro USB though right?

Can't be having that.

I got this bad boi recently and it's excellent.
