if you work you really dont want to read this

Reading it indicates that Labour are saying there wont be a 3p tax rise if they are re-elected......

Yeah just so they get voted back in, then when they get in, they will stick the 3p rise on, they are all the same, they'll say anything to get your votes, they've all been doing it for years. :)

Well it's as obvious as the Sun rising that over the next decade taxes are going to be higher and public spending lower. Which party is in power makes very little difference there.

It was also established an entire day before this thread was put up that the figures Osborne claims were secret were published in the budget. On top of that, the IFS actually stated there is no hidden tax claim in the documents.

I fully expect my tax to go up after the next general election, there's just no two ways about it. The question for me is whether (unlikely) Labour get in, or if the Tories get in and shift the tax burdon down towards the lowest earners as usual as most of their tax policies prior to recession were aimed at very high earners.

Yeah its a bit depressing really...

But my real point is that the tories will pretty much do the exact same thing if they won....

I've never voted as yet as I never know who to vote for and don't believe what any of them ever say.

I think I'll go for SNP purely because my boss was looking for some support from the local councillors to keep the small local business working and keeping 4 local people employed. He got no reply from the elected labour official apart from a reply to a letter of complaint saying......please don't complain.

He wrote to the other listed MSPs and had 3 replys from them via email, two phone calls and had one of the guys int he shop two days later. The fact the guy made that effort makes me prefer SNP over labour.
