I'm on eta too, give me a shout if you need a hand.

Currently 2 hours to go till Wealth researched and I can start mining the marble. My town is only lvl 2 with a wall and 2 slingers defending it, hope I don't get attacked any time soon...

How do you trade with other people? Marble seems a good base resource to trade once I get mining it.
 
i havent the faintest idea what im doing, got a research thing, barracks and a shipyard, and i cant do anything now...got half my population at the saw mill and thats it. oh and 1 slinger whos out on a pillage for the fun of it
 
I'm at stristoios 36:83 OCUK Jonestown player name uroboros, currently town size 5 and after some marble to expand. Anyone set up an alliance yet?
 
You need an embassy to create (and possibly to join :confused:) an alliance. I don't think any of us has one yet.
 
this is gonna be cheaky as heck, but can anyone spare any wood, i have 3 left, looks like i was really stupid

and it seems its gonna take a while to get anywhere with the saw mill workers only bringing in 15 an hour :(
 
Finally building my first colony, last slot on the nearest Crystal island luckily :)

Was tempted to go Wine since I'm always in short supply and helps my population shoot up, but there's 2 Wine islands nearby and more than likely I'd be stuck without a Crystal colony.

Currently got:
lvl 6 Town Hall
lvl 5 Academy
lvl 5 Warehouse
lvl 5 Trading Post
lvl 3 Tavern
lvl 3 Trading Port
lvl 1 Shipyard
lvl 1 Barracks
lvl 1 Wall
lvl 1 Palace

Gold's absolutely flying in and I've already bought 8 cargo ships to keep my economy running smoothly. Haven't invested in an army yet since no one has attacked and the other islanders have been really helpful and generous to each other.
 
74:62 is where i am, and i just noticed 4 towns disapeared from my island lol its quite empty now lol..i actually demolished my barracks and took my acadamy down 1 level to get enough wood, but i still could need some....any idea how i give gold?
 
why can't i serve any wine my tavern is on lvl 4 and i was serving wine but it's run out and it's not producing anymore :confused:
 
You need to be situated on a wine producing Island for it to top up naturally.

If you are, make sure you have workers assigned to collect the vino.

If you're not on one, then use your market to find suitable people willing to trade it to you. Find the right quantity & price that fits your budget, then click the trade button. You will require a port and one cargo ship for the trade to go ahead.

The main thing that bugs me about this game is not being able to set a build queue. It takes so long to build anything it would be nice if you could at least set up a short queue so that something was building overnight.
 
I'm on Delta at 56:21 (Tripton) and need some marble and/or crystal quite badly. If anyone is nearby and has some they can spare, I can trade wine or pay with gold.

Edit: I no longer need Crystal but do need some marble still. In the morning, I should have 500-600 wine available to trade

Indeed, I hope I'm wrong but I think I saw some threads on the game's forums about them deciding not to implement it though :(
