Upgrade your warehouse as much as you can, and whenever he attacks send your trade ships away with as much resource as possible. Load up your ships and send them any where far away. Then recall them when the attack is over.

Nobody attacks my primary island as I have my army there but sometimes my colonies get attacked.
Rather than spend money/resources on an army for those islands (as I'm trying to level them as fast as possible), I just demolished the trading ports. People can attack all they want but they're getting away with a maximum of 60 resources and maybe a couple thousand gold. Only one person has attacked me more than once as it's not really worth it.
Also, with the amount of gold/resources I have coming in, they're restored back to pre-attack levels within 5-10 minutes.

Woop. I've got a colony on all 4 resource islands now. Just building up my glass island to the same level as my others.

The one disappointing thing about the game is what's the point in attacking someone? You cannot destroy their city or anything like that.

I dont fully understand the trading amounts..

When someone is selling 200 marble and they are selling for 20 gold per piece.. if I put down 1 in the buy column does that mean i get 200 marble for 20 gold?

No, you get 1 marble for 20 gold. 200 marble would cost 4000 gold.

No problem. Why not join the OcUK alliance (if you're on the Delta server) and look for members in islands around you? I'm sure they'd be willing to trade at a lower price. I know several of us have bases on all four resource islands now.

Yeah that would be good i'm gonna have a scout around, I'm on delta aswell town is Chadwell.. I think I just got proper ripped off for marble! 50 marble for 1000 gold :|

If anyone wants to set up a trade agreement with me, feel free. I'd prefer to be the receiver due to using less diplomacy points, the reason being I've been donating all my free points to the Alliance so I can accept new members so have very little left to use for personal treaties.

I generally keep all my marble for my colonies but when I see someone offering to buy 2000 marble for 50g each, it's hard not to sell to them. Easy 100,000g profit.

I'm not even bothering with a sulphur island. It's going for 7-10g each where I'm at. I just keep buying several thousand at a time when the price is the lowest.

Exactly the same as me, sulphur is non-profit as far as I'm concerned, and there was another marble island near me with the marble wonder, AND had only 1 lot left, so I took it

Hmm, as of last night i cant seem to send resources to my other cities. I cant move the slider along in the shipyard and if i type a number, it just says no goods have been selected or something :S

Slider works fine in academy, barracks, tavern, all island resource sliders.
