I'm 31 in three weeks....

31 here also, 32 in a few months. I'll be gaming until they prise my mouse out of my cold dead hand :D

Commodore 64 generation, although recently found out what my very first gaming console was, a Philips Videopac 7000. Those were the days :D

Oh and one of my favorite quotes:

"Growing old is compulsory, growing up is optional" :D

Wow im 39 and my 1st was the Philips 7000 in 82,loved pic axe Pete:)
But mainly got into gameing with Commodore 64 in 87!

There was some story in the paper a while back about some granny gaming at 94 or some ****.

Your not too old mate.:D

She had some crazy 60inch tv screen, that's bigger than what I have

I am 34, "Spectrum generation".

Still going.

We are the first generation who grew up with games as a choice in our home.

Snap! Grew up with 8 bit gaming. Still thoroughly enjoy it.

Some people spend crazy amounts of time watching crappy soap operas. I spend a moderate amount of time playing through interactive films (ie. Games)

As long as you're not living like a hermit it's fine. I enjoy gaming as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle. :)

Probably would have been about 5 or 6 when I had mine, memories are hazy of that far back :D

This was the first (only?) game I had, they don't make 'em like they used too :p

32 and still gaming. (Though admittedly fairly rarely at the moment due to work and having 2 small kids). I dont think it is unusual to still be into gaming in your 30's it is what we grew up with (amiga for me). I regularly notice older commuters chatting about computer games.

36 years old and a father.

Atari 2600
ZX81
Amstrad 464 (with Prestel 'internet')
NES
Amiga
SNES
PS1
Atari Jaguar
N64
Gamecube
Then a succession of PC's.

Never too old. :)

CANNOT WAIT

I used to be a reg on a CSS server which was mainly 40+, one 60 odd year old Yorkshireman iirc. I'd hop on to make up the numbers. They've moved on to CS:GO and I'm stuck in my CSS ways at 29 :p

Wasn't MAG (Middle Age Gamers) and the "Yorkshireman" Googy by any chance.

Used to play on there myself up til about a year ago, good bunch of guys :)

31 the spectrum and c64 generation?

You were born in 1982 by my calculation that makes you about 2-3 years old when you were playing them. I'd be more inclined to call you the PS1 generation.

I'm 31, born in 1981. Had a commodore 64 (got the weekly magazine for months/years, had huge stacks off them under my bed!), dreamed of an amiga 1200 that was advertised in the back of that magazine, so I was playing the c64 until I was 11/12 years old at least, had a sega master system, played my mates megadrive, had a playstation 1 (the square one, not the newer rounded PS1), ps2 and so on.

31 is deffo c64/speccy generation.

PS1 was launched in 1994. What the hell did someone born in 1981/82 play for the 10 years prior to that then? Wooden horses at age 12? I think not :p:D

Spectrum 48k my bro got around when i was 4-5, i was hooked on computers at that point. That would have been around 1985/6. Iirc.

ps1 was well in the 90s that generation.

So yep the 80s was the speccy and commodore era.

Personally as a person born in 1982 my computing was like this.

Speccy 48k/128k +3 around 1985 ish
Nes, snes, megadrive, mastersystem 2 (md brothers, ms sisters) around 1986/7 till around 1993
Amiga 500 and Atari ST500 or somit around 1993-5 iirc
Some crap 286 my dad got me and sis once which broke after a few months with 3.11 on i think around 1996 tho not sure tbh.
Bro got us a 486 with grim fandango and few other games like doom around 1999. After this ive just been a pc guy since building my own and have been through a about 5 since.

Ps1 was around about 1995 ish i think which my bro got 2nd hand around about 1997 i think tho not sure.

Btw anyone remember these bad boys: http://alturl.com/88a3m

Used to have a few of them i remember a tmht one that was like £25 (a LOT of money in them days) that i got when i must have been around 8 or 9 or somit. I remember a pole position red one at some point. Oh and i had this too which was damn cool at the time. http://remembersingapore.files.word...n-80s-video-games-driving-simulator.jpg?w=640

45 and just started playing Doom again and still play Asherons Call, have had 2 accounts since 2001 now that is some serious money spent on a game, with the added bonus of Asherons Call 2 running on a beta with more than you would think people playing it.

Just loading my 35 disk DVD collection of Mame plus all the other emulators, sometimes i just load up the old Amiga classics just to listen to the music and reminisce and do a couple of lvls.
