Okay, so i'm not. I'm not even that bright!
But i did just write a post and it seems that i stumbled across something worth thinking about by accident.
Maybe worth a poll if a passing Don would be so kind?
Is Christmas:
A) an important religious festival that should be sacred?
B) a nice excuse to all get together and be nice to each other?
I'm a B. Never been religious, and although i know that christmas is all about the birth of Jesus, I've never really been a believer. Yet even though i don't believe, i've always got pleasure from giving to those i care about, being with them, letting by-gones be by-gones and lets be honest, it's nice to get gifts too
So i say, regardless of religion, christmas is a special time because it's an excuse for us all to be nice to each other. Who hasn't wished a complete stranger a Merry Christmas? We all have. Would you talk to that stranger if you passed them on the street in July? Course not!!
I say Merry Christmas to all of you
