Is it visibly different from the bog standard one? And aren't there 3 levels, Cd player, business HiFi, and Harmon Kondor hifi? (I know its not Harmon Kondor but some other brand)

Does the basic stereo not come with the subs behind each seat? It's just that I don't recall speccing an upgraded stereo yet I have the subs behind each seat and the music sounds pretty damn good through it.

I didn't think so although it may have changed on later cars (may be standard on the coupe?). You should be able to tell by looking in the boot next to the battery for the amp. That or there should be a DSP option on the Nav screen, alternatively check your original invoice! :p
 
What's cabin noise like in the Z4 at 70mph+? Many problems with leaks during poor weather?

I'm going to be after a new car in a couple of months, never really considered one of these.
 
Well.. I have a picture, but its awful :o:(

Borrowed Camera from work, got in the car and drove off to get some arty photos. Found a nice spot...went to the boot only to realise Id forgot the tripod and the flash wouldnt work :(

Wil have some photos up tomorrow morning (gives me a chance go for an early morning blast :D).

Plus i've always wanted a "My New Car" thread so I will get some pictures and have them up on here before work :)

It's a soft top so there is always going to be more noise than a hard roof, at 70 though it's pretty quiet and it's a great car for long cruises, it eats up the miles (I once did a 1000 miles in 23 hours and lived to tell the tale).

Never ever had a leak.

Nice looking ride Tommo, it looks just like mine, you must be a man of impeccable taste :)

The fact that you can get these for around £10K makes baby Jesus cry if you already own one, if you're in the market for one then you're a jammy whotsit!

How do they compare to the likes of the Boxster S?

I've only really thought of a 330ci or 330d up to now, maybe an Alfa GT 3.2 as an outside bet, but I'm not sure if I could manage with only two seats.
