WOW! LFD2 in 3D is absolutely incredible. I've played 3D games on the PS3 and it was OK... not amazing nor terrible. I turned the 3D depth amount up to the maximum I could without feeling crosseyed (around 70% I'd say) and this is probably the most impressed I've ever been - I felt like I was in the room! Truly brilliant.

For those of you (and I know there's a few) with a nVidia / BenQ combo - get the 3D Vision 2 pack and be astounded :)

I was so impressed I started a whole new thread to let you all know. Now I stand ready to take some abuse for wasting all your time :p . Ha ha.

do you get plenty of moments where you actually dodged or moved to avoid something in game? That will be mega fun :D

Yeah I did a couple of times I think LOL. I was too into it to really notice - but it was an entirely different experience almost.

Anyone know what other good games are there for 3D? Or have I reached peak enjoyment with LFD2?

Yup most definitely the love of my life tbh.

Have two group nights a week where we play all of the lovely add on campaigns from L4D maps :)

I tell you some good bits to look out for...

Shoot a bed and watch the dust fly up haha.

Sparks from the overhead power cables.

Fireworks (even though they're low res)

Pipe bomb explosions. Get yourself as close as you can :D

Also, be sure to take a good look at splatted zombies. Some of them have their arses hanging out of a night gown. Absolutely hilarious to look at in 3D :D

Also ! do you find it makes timing melee swings so much easier?

Before I played in 3D I could never quite time whacking a jockey in the head with a baseball bat before he jumped on. Now? I hit a lot more than I miss as it seems so much easier to time in 3D !

I love Skyrim in 3D :D

Will be trying out a few more games this week once I have completed ME3 on xbox.

Might even play through HL2 again, or maybe just go with Portal.

I know a lot of people like to diss 3D, but I absolutely love it.

3D is awesome in some of the games I play. However, I must be honest. In others it adds nothing and can be very distracting.

HL2 has the same anomaly issues as L4D2 sadly :( water looks like it's separated and I know that it's not limited to passive 3D 'cos my mate uses Nvidia 3D and says it's the same. Problem is of course that HL2 has an awful lot of water in.

When you load into L4D2 it gives a warning that water is in 2D. The goo doesn't render that well either but it's minor grumbles on something very good.

For me, Battlefield 3 wasn't that great in 3D. I've got The Witcher 2 to play which I've had for a while so looking forward to trying that.

Mate try Trine in 3D....it is amazing, Metro 2033 is brilliant in 3D especially when climbing a ladder but the atmosphere of the game so suits it, Just Cause 2 was very nice seeing stuff pop out, Skyrim is great if you read the info adjusting some gfx options and Arkham City seemed very good if they could fix the DX11 performance.

I love 3D too....will play all Mass Effects in 3D when i finished 3.:p

Rusty same monitor, good taste. xD

Avatar was by far the best 3D game I played when I had my 3D vision kit, truly mindblowing 3D effect. Metro and L4D came a close joint second though.

Hmm good call. I can probably pick that up for about 50p now !

Really loved the movie too.

Don't forget guys and girls you can easily do 3D on the cheap providing you have a decent GPU. Just pick up the LG I got. It's only around £140 and comes with the glasses and everything.

Is GTA4 really that good in 3D? I would have thought it was bad since it was so old and heard it was such a bad port.

Its very very good in 3D.
Its also a good game. Don't listen to the whiners, the fact you are enjoying 3D vision shows the whiners aren't always right. 3D vision is slated by a lot of people on these forums.
