I just want the standard version that I've been playing on VC Casino (standard Table Blackjack).

I think i used the Big Five Blackjack Gold, as you only need 1 bet and can do a £1 bet :)

Only thing i wasn't keen on with yukon was thier asking for passport/driving license number, bet that will scare many people off.

Back to the Match Betting:

How come on BetFair as you select a Bet - you go to enter the stake amount, but you can also change the Backers odds??? Not sure what this means but why not just change it to match the other site's odds to be exact - or make it more in your favour??
Or is just best left alone lol

if you change the odds, someone has to match it, i.e. accept your bet at those odds, which is takin a risk that someone will take the bets, not worth it so just stick with the ones given.

How many people have started now?

From what I remember you want either European or single deck blackjack. It decreases the house edge marginally over multideck blackjack, assuming you are playing according to the appropriate strategy card.

Ok that is making more sense now. Although I would be slightly concerned but I will definately give it a go this weekend probably.

To put it in its absolute simplest terms you basically make lots of bets that will cancel each other out. You then draw out all the money you put in PLUS the free money you got for your free bet. That's the profit you make.

exactly, you started yet sirius?

Probably being stupid here, but...

Do you deposit money from a credit card or a bank transfer? If you use a credit card how do you get the money 'out' of the betting site into your bank account as surely this would be deposited back onto the credit card.

I would give this a go but there's a voice over my left shoulder that is worried about fraud - if I go signing up to hundreds of websites i've never heard of, perhaps they might be stealing credit or bank details to go shopping using your money!!! Have you set up an independant account that you solely use for this purpose or do you just use your standard account at the bank? Would anyone recommend getting a credit card solely for this purpose? Maybe even cashing in on some credit card deals like money back or nectar points etc?

Cheers.

All valid points, you take your money back onto the card you deposited on. If you want you can use MoneyBookers, a site similar to PayPal that lets you withdraw and swap money around instantaneously which is good to stop the wait while your bank processes, however, a lot of bookies don't allow you to qualify for the bonus should you deposit via MoneyBookers.

Setting up another account soley for bookies is a good idea if you can be bothered with the hassle, will allow you to keep track of cash flow much easier though.

Similar point about the bookies someone posted before was if they go broke and cant pay you and its fair that you're worried about them stealing your identity, you would have to get through a very large amount of bookies before you came up on one small enough to be dodgy and to be honest, most people lose interest or cant find the time after 5 or 10 if your good so probably not a worry. There are people on MSE though that have done hundreds of offers and I've not heard of any ID theft or anythin.

After 5 or 10 you'll have made a fair bit of cash so you'll probably fizzle out by then.

Interested in this, couple of points:

1 - can i use a credit card? im assuming any winnings get paid back to that card??

2 - you say after 5-10 you will fizzle out..... 5 bets are likely to make how much?

3 - as far as i can gather, the profit' is made from the free bets - what happens if the bet i 'bet' on wins all the time, is there more money to be made from that?

still a bit confused, but fancy making £300 or so for a tv

Its a slow slow process it seems in my case. Unless you can bank roll loads and do loads of bets at once.

Yes you can, and it will just get put back on to your credit card.
5-10 bets will earn you a little bit of cash. Maybe $100 or so if your lucky - or maybe $50.
You dont win a bet by the way. You lose and win at the same time so they cancel each other out. The only benefit I can see is if the BetFair (Lay bet) wins everytime that way all the 'winnings' i.e the free bet goes to one a/c and so you dont have to keep withdrawing and waiting etc.
Basically you can win a good proporation of the free bet - say 70-90% each time. :) If you have the time it will work

Sweet, good thread.

Just signed up to VC with £50, wagered over £500 in total finishing on £65 :D

Applied for my bonus which will take a couple of days. When I get it I just need to wager £50 more and I should be a cool £50+ up :D :D

Not bad for 2hours whilst watching TV :p

Thanks!

I'm using my credit card here so that any money won goes on there and helps pay it off :)

Anyone used will hill casino?

Decided to play a bit of roulette tonight (not bonus hunting or that)

Put in £10, got up to £50 and walked away with that.

Log back in 20 mins later and im awarded a bonus of £50.

Whats the deal with this? my casino chips are £100 but when i cash in my balance is left with £50, can't find any information about how i can walk away with the other £50. Doesn't say anything about wagers or that.

I'd go back to the original join page, they should have terms and conditions on the WR and when you can withdraw your bonus.

Wills casino is 25x bonus rollover, roulette is banned though so you need to wager 1250 on blackjack to convert that bonus cash

I've not actually checked the account yet, but it will more than likely be withdrawable? or in X amount of days?

Edit: Reassuring

withdraw.jpg

Although as £50 is the minimum withdrawal, i can't have a tinker with it and try to double it or the gf will beat me up!

It seems to be credited to your account but in a withdrawable manner, but the temptation will always be there! lol
Oh right, thats good news then! I was under the impression that it went back into your account but only in the sense of "you've lost your money, here's what you lost but you can only use it to bet... either win your money back or lose the free money too!".... kind of way.

But if you can instantly withdraw the money then great!

Might have a deeper look into this tomorrow.

Whats this about drivers license or passport

Damn straight it would put me off, as I have neither! :o

still dont get how this can be profit making. Obviously it is, but its going over my head :(

Is this correct:

1 - Put £25 into a Betfred account
2 - Put £25 into a Betfair account + whatever I need to cover any loss
3 - Make a bet on Betfred
4 - Counter that bet with a lay on Betfair
5 - Hope that result goes my way, and end up losing £1 or £2
(This is where im stuck, as although I counter the loss on one or the other, im putting up £50 minimum, and cant see where that returns)

(Ill try to carry on)
6 - Betfred now give me £25 free to make a bet (maybe more if T&Cs state)
7 - Make bet on Betfred
8 - Counter that with a lay on Betfair
9 - Lose maybe £1 or £2 - but end up with i.e. £23 from the free bet which i can now withdraw
10 - As soon as money is withdrawable, close account and start again with a different bookmakers

.....

To me, it seems as if im giving Betfred £25, but getting i.e. £23 back, where does the profit come from?

Whilst at the same time, Betfair have £25+ of my money......

I hate not understanding :o
