I'm so cheesed off!

You say you have no work experience but have done 2 weeks work experience. You put that down when it asks for previous jobs. Simple.

This, matey, and chin up. :) If you need a second reference (character), include one of your A level teachers, or someone else who is not directly related but knows you well. Try a few places off-chance as well - no forms and no pain. Works especially well for part time work as a student. Volunteering to beef up your CV is sound advice, too. And don't forget seasonal work - winter holidays and sales are not far off. If it's the first time you've done some job hunting and CV writing, it may be a good idea to get some help and advice with that going forward - don't assume it's perfect! Takes most people a few drafts and attempts to get it right.

Try to take rejection with a pinch of salt and don't give up. Might take you a few months, but you'll get there in the end.

Don't forget, a lot of these large companies advertising jobs forget to remove the job advert once they hire someone or never actually hire anyone. Just concentrate on your education and hope the jobs pick up in a few years.

What do you mean?

Did I do too much?
Did I do too little?

What did turning up 30 minutes earlier, not having a proper lunch, and everything else actually achieve you? I suspect nothing more than what you would have got if you worked the normal hours. Also, why were you working so much? Could you not complete your tasks in the set time?

Heh now I understand why you think I'm trolling here, you're not even old enough to have a relationship.

OP, this post indicates why you shouldn't take any advice seriously on here. You obviously don't lie about your achievements or experience or they could find out in your interview which could leave you digging yourself a big hole if they ask you an awkward question about it.

Ask someone who actually knows what they are on about such as a career advisor at your school.

What the hell, why is it so hard to get a simple customer advisor job!

I've applied to half a dozen places and they haven't even said anything back and it's been 2 months+

I just tried to apply for a job at B&Q and it's all going smoothly except it then asks for past job experience, in which I put none, but NO they won't ****ing accept that! You must enter at least one job.

Well where the **** am I going to start, I wouldn't mind wiping my wang over these stupid people, teach them some common ****ing sense.

I'm not going to lie because I think it's morally wrong but from what I've heard from other people nobody gives a **** these days.

**** trying to get a job, I'm concentrating on my education.

Rant over.

The fundamental flaw in your plan is that to be a customer adviser you have to be a stupid **** who knows nothing about any products and has a disdain for customers.

Going off 'PW World' staff, anyways .. Latest example, hardware expert who didn't know the different between memory and a hard disk .. :/

Not letting you put no job experience is just telling you that you shouldn't be applying for a job there ... I applied for B&Q got as far as the assessment day and no further which after attending that I'm glad I didn't it was utterly stupid and pointless.

I lied to get a really good job in the Foreign Office.

I said I was working in the same solicitors as my Mum. General office admin work. Filing, photocopying, faxing and all that game.

In reality, I was a cleaner and emptying out bins and cleaning khazi's in an office in Tunbridge.

They never checked. I just blagged it in the interview and I got an offer of employment a week later. It was goodbye cleaning overalls and hello suit and tie.
