It's aspirin that gives you the ulcers iirc:p
I thought aspirin was good for thinning blood and promoting circulation? Not a valid trade off if so, good circulation and less chance of heart failure against liver failure, screwed either way :D

it is but prologued use screws your stomach lining up. Happens mainly in old people who take lots of it every day for a long time though.

If you had a hole in the tooth, how come you left it so long? I did the same through hatred/fear of the dentist and the tooth ended up cracking in half - I ended up having root canal treatment and a crown.

Aside from the OP making no sense whatsoever, there's some really weird discussion going on here.

I am yet to ever feel anything other than pain relief from codeine. Are you all lightweights or just fibbers? ;)

Edit: Wait, did you honestly think Tesco would be open at that time of the morning on a Sunday?

No because I'm not an idiot seeking liver damage? 30mg is more than enough for anything you'd take codeine for.

Didn't realise we were discussing opiate overdoses :p

well then you wont feel anything off that little.

And the liver can take a lot more than 100mg, overdose is further still.

Well i did take the advertisements to mean it was open 24 hours a day, its printed in 10 foot letters on the side of the shop, in my hour of agony maybe i wasnt thinking too clearly but still 24 hours means 24 hours no? The fact you could turn up 3am to buy whatever you like on a monday morning is strikingly normal but a sunday somehow is completely out of the question?
As for the codeine, when i take 2 30mg tablets i feel dizzy and dry mouthed, lazy and lethargic, im sure im not the only person, not exactly flying high with the birds but drugged none the less, maybe you have a high tolerance but then whos to say you dont have a regular medication of your own! and as for making no sense there are plenty of replies that seem to stay well on track of the conversation, i think they manage to get my drift so how come you dont?

Ive been prescribed more than that for major stomach surgery by a hospital, a little more than anything you state codeine is good for

I was talking about co-codamol which we've been discussing. 30/500 is the strongest co-codamol you'll be getting in the UK.

And yes, considering the law prevents supermarkets from opening 24H on a Sunday, it is rather stupid to expect them to open 24H on a Sunday.

P.S. Tefal if you're taking over 3 30/500 co-codamols you're taking almost half the limit of paracetamol in a 24H period. If you finished there you'd be fine, but continuing to put paracetamol in you're very likely to end up with liver damage.

No we where talking about codeine nice pure prescription codeine, you even said codeine :/

Why the hell would you take that much paracetamol :/

Fair play i didnt realise it was illeagal for 24 hour sunday sevice so yep pretty stupid to expect it.
As said above though looking back at the thread co-codamol was only mentioned briefly, codiene was/is the drug of choice.
