I was in the office on Friday and writing a training plan for one of our products. One of our engineers said that he had put something on paper so I had a look at and it was pretty good. So I asked him, "do you mind if I use some of this?"

He replied, "No, use whatever you like".

At which point I said, "Plagiarism for the win".

I got ribbed about it all day. I'm so ashamed.

I use noob all the time rather than using other swearies, I think its pretty common now anyway :D *crosses fingers*

This happens a LOT with the younger office people where I work. Whenever I need to go in the office I usually have to sit and wait for about an hour while someone prepares my documentation to take with me down south. Some of the things they come out with are unbelievable. They spend far too long on MSN/Myspace.

So far I've heard

Roffel (rofl?)
lol
noob (to refer to new office workers)
owned
pwned (it was a spelling mistake, and people are actually saying it)
leet
woot
woop
lame-o (lmao I think)

:rolleyes::D

I use dude and owned quite a lot. My brother gave me the peoples eyebrow when i asked him to take a picture of a car with PWN in the number plate as well :o.

"dude" is not a geek term
