I have tried mount & blade in the wasn't getting in to it, maybe ill it try again

For the full GoT experience the character you're playing should be brutally murdered after a while and become permanently unplayable.

Then you have to continue from a different angle on a new character.

that would be great regarding the nemesis system

Is that the strategy game Game of Thrones Genesis you are referring to? Doesn't get great reviews but I can't be bother with strategy games anyway. I suppose if it really felt like GOT I'd give it a go but looks quite pants...

Yes you did and I thought that too myself too it's just that the strategy one is the only Game of Thrones game I could find (aside from the Telltale one) when I searched. Where can I learn about the RPG game, got a link?

Some characters have cameos (Varys, Cersei..) but it is mostly about new characters.

But these new characters are great. Mors Westford is someone I would LOVE to see on the show someday.
