I've been down this rabbit hole years ago. In the back of my Marantz CD player is a pair of Van Den Hull The First Ultimate IC....

Don't worry, the real life version used to scare the bejeesus out of some people tooThat puppet used to give me nightmares
Nice little play area, should keep you busy.
The big question will be whether he changes it all around as much as he does his desk setup
Getting nervous looking at that bench! Doesn't look too stable to me.
Well not sure how much changing around you can do with that setup.
Which bench, the one with the weights or the kitchen bench?

The weights bench. Mines got a 6 inch plate either side of the main beam and that's unstable enough, not having anything would worry me!
New kitchen's gone in, no flooring yet though.
It's a very good bench, not sure why you think it would be unstable? Doesn't move at all. Had another like this before, exactly the same and it comfortable handles me bench pressing 150kg+
It's identical to pretty much all the commercial gym benches used.

That link actually highlights the problem I'm thinking of really well! Let's say you're doing seated overheads. The weight will be at the front of the bench over the single leg, not at the back over the double.
