Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Mate they are grim. That colour is just gash, won’t look right with anything

Probably a good job you dont own them then ;) They do look good, especially when wearing pale colour clothing like pale blue jeans and a washed out tshirt. Just adds a bit of flare to any look. Everyone has different tastes. Hell, I don't even like red but I seem to be drawn to it for some things. Maybe it's just a way of showing my anger :D

You forgot to remove a pair of your missus trainers there, he just wanted to see yours :p

You joke... My missus has exactly the same size feet as me so my trainers are her trainers :( Why you think I have so many? :D

I know it shouldn't bother me, I know it's not important, please feel free to roll eyes and ignore me, but I don't understand photos of cars, ideally suited for a landscape photo, are taken in portrait... There's more ceiling in that photo than car! :p
Haha fair comment.

The garage was pretty cool inside and I wanted to portray the vertical space. I could have posted a picture of a pair of tyres but that would be far too exciting :p

My commiserations. if she's anything like my missus who gets through a pair of trainers in a few months, I still have a pair of adidas in good condition from 8 years ago.

Holiday.

XfA5e41.png

Was initially intending to go over and see my folks, but turns out they're back in the UK at the end of September so just get the use of their house on our own. Winning :D
We just cancelled our holiday abroad due to covid, didn't fancy being in a plane when they're known for being horrendous for catching things (colds etc). Going to Cornwall instead now!

Gibbo does like to bring up the fact he's got a Ferrari at every opportunity though

Really? Last post about it was few weeks ago, don't think its been mentioned again in GD, yes of course in motors because it is the motor forum where people talk about cars, so of course it gets mentioned. I own a few other nice cars too but I do not mention them or feel need too as they are not recent purchases, I enjoy talking with other people online about cars or when prompted for my opinion, help or advice certain marques but I do not recall posting saying I own a Ferrari at every opportunity and if I have then it is simply not intentional. I love cars for driving, not for the bragging rights, I am just fortunate to own the cars I do.

Yes it is in my signature but cars are my hobby and out of items I own to me it is my most precious and in-animated object I love and thoroughly enjoy driving, but that is a forum signature and it is not me mentioning I own one at every opportunity as you put it.

You bugger, I love that watch, is the new version that has sapphire crystal glass? I'm currently saving for a watch and I'm not sure which direction to take, I love the Max Bill but with the black face.

It's just passion, people on here go on about their stuff all the time, look how many people have their rigs in their signatures, I see it all the time, people often misconstrued passion as showing off when usually the 'showing off' part only exists in the onlookers mind, not in reality.

Nothing against you for it just something that I've found! I don't have signatures turned on so can't see that! What I refer to it that you'll often compare whatever it is you're talking about to the Ferrari, or if someone is talking about buying something themselves you'll bring it up.

Not my place to tell anyone what to post so don't change for my benefit!

I suspect I'd be similar if I had such a machine :)

Good taste my man. Go for it!

This is the original version.

That's a very nice looking watch! Lovely straps too.

Thanks bud. I'm over the moon with it.

A new pair of Michelin PS4's and a fresh Hunter alignment for my JCW.

What an improvement in grip and comfort over the god awful factory Pirelli P7 run flats!

Oooh nice, what size were the Pirellis and how much for the PS4's?

We've got a 2014 Cooper S and the run flats are terrible, always been looking to get out of them. Is there a massive difference? I'm looking more for comfort than anything.

Did you tell your insurance about the change from RF to NRF? Or am I being a square? :P

I went for 215/40/18 over the standard 205. £240 for the pair from blackcircles after discount. Usually 290 odd.

Massive difference in grip especially in the wet. Comfort has improved, taken the edge off the harsh run flats. I also run mine at less psi than on the door shut. 38/35 front and rear.

Insurance should be thanking me for the safer tyres! Ha. No didn't inform them, all a bit pedantic.

Yes but that is the motors forum and typically in response to post about other members considering a new buy or asking questions and yes it’s passion and it’s in the motors forum which to be honest would you expect any less for a owner to post about their car in the motors forum as it’s why that sub category was created.

And thank you. :)
