Look for Wahl Colour pro, I've had mine 3 years and use it for face as well as head hair

The colour pro is garbage if you want a decent cordless then it had to be the Wahl magic clip.

It's deceiving they put pro in the name yet it's not a proper professional barbers clipper.

Again like anything YouTube has plenty of pro barbers on it with buyers guides there is like 3 Wahl clippers that come highly rated and it's the magic clip, the balding and the senior.

Magic clip is best for fading and an all rounder. Balding gives the closest shave. Never tried the senior.

How many proper clippers have you used though?

If you don't have anything decent to compare them to then obviously a Corsa would look amazing to a novice. You would never see a pro barber worth their salt use them. Which is a sign of how crap they are.

I don't care, for the £20 I paid for them they shave my head just fine and I think I've gotten my moneys worth from them

i paid £35 for one of my wahls. you dont need to spend £100. for that extra £15 you literally get top tier vs argos clippers

I never thought I'd see the day somebody would be so elitist when it comes to ******* hair clippers, congrats

btw your pro wahls won't cut my hair any shorter than it already is so why would I want to spend an extra £15 for the same result ?

There are a lot of bad clippers out there. And you never know from the first cut, even the first few cuts. Some deteriorate very quickly, with or without oil.

Still, if it costs you £10 a cut, and you get 2 cuts, then no negatives to be had. Except the environmental impact from tossing them in the bin :D

He's actually right though. There are different wahl models and the ones with the more powerful electric motors do make a difference when cutting, much quicker and easier to use and less likely to have to go over areas repeatedly. I've got a few pairs, the super tapers are great for example.

I have the super tapers and they’ve been amazing for years and years. I’ve had many cheaper models and non of them cut as well.

Finally someone who gets it. Yeah super tapers are decent too.

As for the won't cut any shorter again completely ignorant.

My Wahl balding cut far shorter than my Wahl magic clips. My Andi's outliner cuts even shorter but that's more for line ups. Then my Andi's microfoil goes even shorter than all of them.

Recommending £20 cheap crap to people isn't helpful when spending a few quid more can get you top tier clippers.

Cutting power is a big one as you have alluded to. If you have thick hair some clippers can struggle and even get stuck or pull hair rather than go right through it like a hot knife through butter. I find magic clips need more passes than the Wahl balding so I'd hate to see how many passes a £20 pair of Argos clippers require for a even cut.

It's a real shame Wahl put pro in the name of that clipper as it's not for professional use and is garbage in comparison to their pro line.

Like I said before YouTube is your friend. Do your own research. Plenty of pro barbers on their with buyers guides and recommend clippers.
