Out of interest what do you have them paired with? Mine get used between an iPhone, iMac, and MacBook and to be honest since one of the very early updates last year I've not noticed any connectivity issues.
I was being silly as usual, but I’m surprised it’s elicited scorn!
+1
Don't get it
Am I old ?
It's aesthetics.
I didn't get it either until I got an RGB razer keyboard. It actually looks amazing when you see it in person in front of you.
My case is on the floor in the corner so I don't really see the ones built into the motherboard or gpu.
However I think a much bigger issue is the folk buying RGB lightbulbs.
It's okay to light up a specific item and have it integrates into a gaming system but lighting a whole room red, green or blue is just a gimmick. It will also cause eye strain and make things look unnatural.
Now I have several smart bulbs but I chose the white only ones for a reason.
The only one I didn't is because I wanted the infrared light so it works with internal CCTV / baby monitor etc so it lights up the whole room at night whilst not being visible to the human eye.
An RGB chair I wouldn't buy a gimmicky gaming chair in the first place but I imagine it looks amazing when you integrate it with gaming.
For example my keyboard changes colour and themes depending on what is happening in game.for example in apex of I'm flying the keyboard looks like it's on fire like a flame effect.
It changes colour, pattern, etc according to what is going on. Which is cool to see even though you don't look at the keyboard much or if at all whilst gaming.
There are folk spending £80 on RGB mouse mats, etc for aesthetics. It's funny how people who buy gimmicky or stuff for aesthetic looking pictures don't understand why other people buy things they like the look of.
My next mouse will likely be RGB however I wont bother with a chair or mouse mat or fans. Not unless I want to turn the whole thing into a showpiece to show off to others.
An X Rocker Alpha Neo Motion Gaming chair.
This should go nicely with the full RGB Gaming PC I’m building my son for Christmas.
This rainbow animation mode is one of 30 other different colour modes.
I cannot stress how much NO I feel when looking at that. I also cannot get my head around PCs that look like fairground rides and now there is a chair that looks like a fairground ride.
I just do not get it and think it's about as tacky as it comes. Would it be a safe bet that the OP has a corner sofa?

Yep - he’s 9 years oldIt is for his son, who is presumably younger then the vast majority of this forum.

Would I buy it for myself? - no way
RGB also gives you an extra 5-10 fps and better aim, so totally worth it
I know this post was in jest but form is 100% mental.
So if something does boost your morale it can boost your aim.
For example driving a Ferrari makes you feel a lot better than driving a astra.
Therefore it's plausible an RGB mouse could give you better aim over a crap mouse.
Agreed. I always felt this with new guitars. They make not make you play better, but if they make you play more then that’s perfect.
Sure, drop me a trust. At chance of a copy of that for a wallpaper?
