Here's my second pulled pint, it has a slightly smaller head than the first and is lovely and cold.
I jest obviously, it is mental though how they can afford £1000 canada goose jackets but decide to wear with tracksuit bottoms and no socks
Does look the biz that for what is ultimately a casual pint at home! Have always been tempted to get one.
Do love the complaints as said above. I can't believe that a machine costing £500 is a slight bit better than one for £100.
Oh of course Some people spend good money on tracksuit bottoms or sweat pants too... Each to their own I guess!
It's a lot better.
The sub is a gimmick it's nothing like proper draught. Get the Phillips machine if you want to spend less.

However it's £425 and that's with 2 times 8 litre kegs.
So roughly 30 pints. The cost of a pint of moretti is what £4 at least for proper draught. 4 * 30 = £120 so the machine is only £300.
You can even tell by looking at the machines one is built like a tank the other all plastic.
I've used both and my family also own a pub and a restaurant so I know how proper draught in commercial systems works and all the variables which effect a pint. Cellar temperature, cleanliness of the lines, age of keg, correctly operating cooler with correct level of water, etc.
If you want a proper pub experience buy the blade. If you aren't a big drinker get the Phillips perfect draft for £190

£220 with a keg. The sub is just a waste of time imo. It's got more flaws than it does pros.
Have you read anything PS posts before?Your argument makes no sense.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beer-Richa...&qid=1604525463&sprefix=draught+syste&sr=8-25How is one machine that pours fresh draft beer a gimmick but a different machine that looks a little different and also pours fresh draft beer a good purchase? Haha
What does material have to do with it? Do you think a proper keg made of metal is better than a plastic key keg? Your argument makes no sense.
The truth is none of the machines provide a 'proper pub experience', but they all give you draft beer at home at different price points with different levels of quality in design, you clearly have something against the sub for some reason. For me it works fine and will dispense my homebrew when I want it, meaning no need to fill up 50+ bottles every time I make a beer. I also don't have to worry about freshness of the beer I'm drinking when I have brewed it.
I've worked in the beer industry in the UK and the US, both in craft breweries. I have Cicerone certification and have had yearly training in off flavours, so I am fine using my own judgement on this, but thanks for your insight.

That also pours draught beer.
So your saying all draught systems are the same?
Have you used the blade?
Build quality is a sign of a better machine.
I've used the sub and it's crap imo. The blade is leagues ahead even your second pint poured above looks like it's been sitting a while for the head to come down.
Having poured thousands of pints you can tell by the head on it that it's been sitting for a while. Which means it was frothing up and you had to stop pouring and start again the bubbles are different when it's a perfect pour at the top. They aren't as large or as thick.
Obviously you are going to defend your purchase but I have used both and the sub is something I couldn't recommend to anyone.
Get the Phillips perfect draft as a bare minimum but best going straight to the blade.
The next time I use the sub I'll post a pic of how bad it is.
PerksAtWork (your employer has to be a member to get the staff discount).Where was this from?
Nice guess, but no. I poured it, set it down while I grabbed my phone and then took a pic.
But anyway, as said earlier, when I buy a house at the end of the year I will build a kegerator which will be better for beer than any of these machines and will cost me half the price of the Blade if I find a cheap secondhand fridge.
Ok I'll wait for black friday as they went down to £129.99 on prime dayPerksAtWork (your employer has to be a member to get the staff discount).
I've got one of the subs as well from Beerwulf, had absolutely no issues.. I leave one of the kegs in the fridge and it's ready to pour within 5-20 minutes depending what drink it is from putting it into the sub, throw away the first half glass or so (as you would anyway) and then no issues from there. Not sure why the negativity. For the price compared to the alternatives it was a no brainer for me. Pours and tastes great.. if you take it out and move it around and place it in, obviously don't expect it to pour brilliantly, but that's not on the sub.
And obviously a Blade is going to be better than the alternative regularly available for under £100 with beer....
