Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I saw some arrow heads like that in US but they were hinged at base so they opened out when they hit the poor animal they were aimed at.
Nice arrow heads though. Surprised they are legal with the namby pambies around today.

Time to upgrade my upstairs office pc from a 5820k. First time going AMD as my downstairs build is also Intel, 9600K.

32GB 3200Mhz Corsair Vengance Pro
MSI B550 Gaming Carbon WiFi

Interesting - 600V caps. Electrolytics ?
Most of mine were 450V 2200uF banks of 192 units for 3,000 kW variable speed drives. Slightly application I suspect................:)

Ah, Filmcaps. My apologies..................:(

The on ear surrounds on my Sennheiser HDR 165s decided to fall apart last week so a quick search found some new ones on Ebay for a tenner and they arrived from China today.
All new and clean again.

old ones - just a click to the left and they come off -dead easy

These are only dinky 47uF parts as my amplifier uses dual diode valves to rectify the AC (5AR4) and they have a first filter capacitance limit of 60uF. Using anything larger can result in arcing inside the valve. The current capacitors are rated only to 500V. If an output valve fails to draw current, the supply voltage rises to around 540V which isn't good news for those caps. The usual cheat is to put two higher capacitance capacitors in series, which halves the effective capacitance but doubles the voltage limit.
