Good plan. Bike theft is mental around the South West, and there is a certain comfort to riding a heap :D

It seems absolutely fine, of course it's bigger but it certainly ticks all the other boxes. The previous one actually did everything I needed, I just fancied something brighter. It won't get used for the main purpose for another six weeks so I can't give a definitive answer but looking good so far.

If you wanted a torch as per your initial requirements there's not a lot out there that is significantly better than the one you already had, which is why you didn't get a terrific response to your initial 'spec me' post.
