Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

It is crown "exotic". I like the colour but it's terrible paint. It is very difficult to apply without any letterboxing/flashing. It required me to help the mrs with the painting to remove streak marks>>>, paintbrush, go over it with a small roller and then large roller

It appears like this paint also scratches easily so in hindsight not too impressed!

Had absolutely no issues with valspar. Can't comment on scratch proof however!

This is last thing I bought.

Plant and pot.
Much effort goes in to trying to match accent items to the wall colour!

Bought this magic little box to stop having to use the lightning to 3.5mm adapter with my phone!
Need a Lightning to USB-C OTG cable now to use it in USB mode but so far enjoying the wireless freedom and the amazing Parametric EQ options.

Should I point out that bluetooth has a limited bandwith?

The Apple adapter wears out quite fast and needs replacing.
This is actually quite small and only 25g, clipped to shirt or pocket you don’t feel it.
When plugged in does 24bit 96khz and on the poor iPhone Bluetooth does 250kbps AAC, more on other devices that support better Bluetooth codecs but plenty good enough when moving around without having to have the phone on you.

Fair enough. But what about when it's not plugged in?

I'm using the iPhone adapter thing at the moment and I've been looking at wired DACs, but I'm not convinced I'll be able to hear the difference in audio quality. I have a DAC on my stereo at home and I don't notice any measurable benefit.

When it’s on Bluetooth with an iPhone you get AAC codec at 250kbps which is the maximum an iPhone can currently do.
Maybe Apple upgrade the Bluetooth in the future as the Qudelix is able to do 900kbps on LDAC Bluetooth.

Plugged in on USB-C it does 24bit 96khz, which is thousands of kbps.

The official apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter which I’ve been using since iPhone 6 or whenever they dropped the 3.5mm port is actually excellent and with easy to drive earphones like my UE custom IEMs is as good as I ever need on the go.

If you’re happy with it I would stick with until it stops working.

I will say though that a major feature of the 5K is the PEQ with a lot of presets for different ear/headphones already programmed in.
I’m really enjoying how it’s transformed the sound of mine.

If yours are in this list then they’ve been measured and have a preset.

No, crown "exotic" see my post above, overall not too impressed with it! (but I like the colour!)

Interesting. I've gone for valspar in the entire house simple as the colour options at B&Q are basically infinite. Impressed so far as seem to have no issues. But I have never used anything else.

Finally an upgrade over my 1910.

Umming and ahhhhing which one I needed to suit my budget, Richer Sounds 's S760H or Peter Tyson's X1700H
Came across a few X2700H on facebook for similar price but wanted that satisfaction of a a brand new unit.

With a standard dongle, or Bluetooth, you can use Wavelet, which also contains all of the AutoEQ presets. It's a really useful app (all thanks to the enormous work that so many people have put into AutoEQ!)

I have the 5k too and it's a really handy bit of kit. Still trying to get the hang of the buttons though. It's very enjoyable having both my phone and computer connected to it during the work day to seamlessly move between devices. Also like the attention to detail they have with regards to charging limits and even totally bypassing the battery if connected via USB.

Managed to find this in a Large up from my Medium I currently have so I can sell the other one. I have the trousers that match coming from America in XL, I'd never thought I'd find the trousers to it, never seen them for sale on ebay, depop etc.

I do like a bit of Nike Tech.

Some more pliers... (needle nose, crimping/wire striping, flush cutters & in/outside circlip pliers)

and some strikable pry bars. (8", 12" and 18")
