Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I paid £135 from Argos but I think it was the last one in stock for 150+ miles from me, luckily was only 5 miles away.

Finished this earlier too, I ordered this last week as it was on offer on Amazon Germany, but while it was on the way I ended up buying the Ecto 1.

Probably didn't help that I did the Ghostbusters set first but I'm not that impressed with this one. But anyway, it was fairly cheap and only my 3rd set I've done, I only grabbed it for a quick Lego fix and then my wife told me to buy the Ecto 1 after talking to her about it for a straight hour or so :p

Working from home for a month and I've worn the kettle out... lid broke off...

I had wondered about a WiFi kettle, so it would be ready when I dash out between meetings, but brother wanted a filter still.

It's quite clever, you set the cup size and it sucks water into the front overhanging bit in advance, then when you turn it on it just boils your cup of water and dispenses it.

Hit the on button as you walk into the kitchen, you have about 25 seconds to get your mug, put coffee or tea bag in and place cup in position.

Had one years back on my desk at work and they are good, right up until the button sticks on and you come back to a large puddle of boiling water on your desk!

I have an RO version of that for a coffee machine and we use it for tea as well. Only issue is that the water that comes out is not actually boiling. By the time the thin stream has fallen into the cup its at about 85 degrees.

I had the original one a decade ago..used it religiously for coffee but as others said, no good for tea. It finally self destructed/disintegrated but worked well for a couple of years at least.

decided to upgrade the car stereo with some nice JBL speakers

The others are yet to arrive as struggled to buy all from one supplier.

Order a new head unit as well, the Sony DSX-GS80 which should have more than enough power to drive the speakers without resorting to a seperate amp.

Is that new old stock? Or is "iPodUSB" and dual USB still the mega features to have?

Also wth is that device bottom right?

Current model but think its been out a few years (launched Dec 2019). Not much choice in high power head units (about 3) and wanted to avoid an amp.

device bottom right is to show you can control and alter all the features from an app on your phone.

Gets great reviews for sound quality and ooomph so will do me and was quite cheap too. Will do 4 x 45W RMS so will go nicely with the GTO 629 and GTO 529 speakers.
