Now sure how good it'd be to read in low level light though ;)

how is it? I went from a pixel 3 which i loved to a pixel 5 which doesnt feel like any form of upgrade.
Loving it so far. Fast and smooth with pure android 12 and great cameras. Feels a premium device in the hand, has a nice heft to it without being too heavy. Not had any issues really, even the fingerprint reader is mostly behaving for me.

Its been a nightmare dealing with Google though as initially they sent me the non pro! Had to send it back and order another phone. So still waiting for refund. On the plus side got a £40 voucher and also £160 store credit. So will be a good deal when all is sorted :)

You planet killer you.
It’s actually using less electric than my portable aircon was, so technically saving the planet? :D

How are the roller drivers? I wonder if I could tweak these to work with venetian blinds. How much?

Superb. Got 4 of them now, they’re £49 each I believe. Batteries seem to last well also. Got them hooked up to home assistant to automate them. I’m sure you can make them work with most blinds.

New wheels - spending a lot more time in London and needed something lightweight, but also able to add an all-terrain set to walk the mutt.
I trialled the original Carbon Black about 16 years ago, but couldn't justify the £10k asking price - great to see how it's evolved and the price is now merely expensive, rather than prohibitive.

The Freewheel lifts the front castors to make rough ground easier to manage.

Where have you ordered that from @RedMogg ? Trying to get my friend to sort himself out with a new chair that's more capable.
Hi - my OT ordered directly, but they wanted me to get measured by their own guy (it's a bespoke chassis to my weight and dimensions).
This is the website - https://www.carbonblacksystem.com/

NHS Wheelchair service (varies by region) should offer your friend the choice of a made-to-order chair (Quickie Argon/Kushall Ti), depending on his needs. If you want to order something flashier, they'll provide a voucher (value again is determined by need), which can be put towards something more custom.

The off road wheels & Freewheel bundle I've put with my old Quickie Ti - cost was £600 (Vat exempt) through Spokz:
It's completely changed how I can spend time with my family - we were limited to relatively smooth surfaces and for short periods due to how hard it is to push oneself over anything other than concrete. Now I can take the dog for a woodland walk and across the playing fields whilst the monsters ride their bikes.

(Edit: Re stock pictures...
Please think how I'm going to take a photograph of something I'm sat in, without either completely doxxing myself or only showing the footplates or half a wheel... I understand why the rule exists, but in this situation, a stock photo is much better to show what it is I've actually bought...)
