It's amazing how tiny it is compared to the Sage Oracle.

The Black Friday offer was definitely too good to miss out on. I'm loving mine! I really do like the black, it was a toss up between that and the chrome for me.

After stopping in a coffee shop in Manchester the other week, I enjoyed their cups so bought some for myself, alongside a fancy wine glass as I don't own a single one.

Saw that advertised on TV the other (the speccy) when I was sat playing my actual speccy....

It's not my original (the tape version) but it feels much the same and the games all work. I've still got the tapes but not the machine so they are all untested now.
Oh I had the +3 and whilst I was grateful it also sucked because I couldn’t borrow games from anyone or rent games from the video shop as they were all tapes :(

The beast has arrived!

3" exhaust to catalyst. Fitment 2nd Jan 2024.

Could've got it done on Friday but then they are closed all Xmas. So any issues I'd have to wait a couple of weeks :p

Are you the new Lara Croft?
You mean is Lara Croft the new me?

Ice climbing and shiz seems wild until you get into it, then you realise it's just another hobby. Pretty safe really, as safe as you want it to be anyway. Plus it combines physical activity with shiny, nicely engineered tools, which is a winning combo.

Historically, Feb has always been pretty reliable for us when we've been up, just not the last couple years. We managed one route in Scotland before it was completely stripped the following day. Although the route was only just about in, the water running behind ice and lumps falling on my head while belaying were a bit disconcerting! I also made it over to Wales in March for a quick blast up the Llech Ddu Spur before it was all gone the next day.
Be interesting to see how this year is after the wet el nino summer. Plenty of stuff getting done in the last couple weeks.

Off dry tooling tomorrow down the pit at Masson Lees, gettting the pump on!

Had some bad results with those things over the years, stripped thread when it was only half-way compressed making it very difficult to get out and useless as a fixture. Proceed slowly and lube the threads first.

I'll be honest and will continue with the fiXte I've been using for a while as they are a simple fit and for their size, hold really well, even on a lath & plaster wall.

Oh no for lath and plaster you really should use snaptoggles, because you can rotate the head to catch multiple laths (if you happen to get right in between them) and ensure you get maximum grip.

I’ve been using those fisher ones for a while, moved on to them after the local hilti branch closed down.

Interesting that he doesn’t rate them over the snap toggle, may have to look in got them.
