Well that is certainly different and definitely stands out!

Not too sure how practical it is though. Copper will lose the heat of the water really fast. Also will be an absolute pain to keep it looking like that for any length of time.

They look like things you use to create a template for awkward shapes. So if you want to cut a floorboard to shape around a door frame you can push these up against the doorframe and the shape holds with the moving plastic bits which can be drawn onto the floorboard for accurately shaped cuts.

It's those indeed, I have the same pair. Not yet used as I only found them after I'd finished the trim work!

The issue I find with gizmos like this is remembering you have them when the time comes, as they're not used frequently enough to stay at the forefront of my toolbox or mind.

Yep, altho they seem pretty poor. I'll give them a go but tempted to return.
