About 5 years since I last used Huel. New job has required a return to it as there is nothing of interest nearby.

The smelly farts are back

(for the beady eyes. I did also buy two oven pizzas)

I think that is the protein heavy huel, the black version? It’s honestly nowhere near as tasty as the regular version.

I’m currently on a morning breakfast of banana standard huel (2 scoops) with an added scoop of cookie flavour protein powder. 500ish kcals, 50g of protein, hurrghn!

I've not had Huel in years so I'm not sure how much the flavour has changed. I always really liked the Vanilla flavour but to be fair back then it was Vanilla or unsweetened and that was it! I did try the mixed berry flavour and that was the last bag I ever bought as I really didn't like the flavour and I didn't really have a need for it at that point.

Disapointing to find out you don't think it tastes as good as the white bags. I only went for the black edition because the flavours sounded nicer! Went with Cookies and Cream along with Strawberries and cream. I'm hoping they'll be non-offensive. I'll try the banana one next time

Yes - it’s excellent. Nitefly recommended. Two scoops of that is 400kcals. Again, I’d avoid the ‘black’ version.

If you’re not mixing it with anything else, the coffee huel is pretty good. Unfortunately it’s now a slightly sweeter ‘coffee caramel’ that doesn’t mix with other flavoured protein powers so well - ends up too sweet.

Other decent filling food are those 20g protein yoghurts - which are super stodgy yet around 100kcals.

It used to do me just fine. I went two weeks consuming nothing but huel and I never really felt hungry. Week 2 I did cheat with chewing gum though as I missed chewing

But if you're smashing food in like that, I don't think anything will save you :p :p
 
@Junglist the banana one is a little weird and artificial tasting by itself, until you get used to it. But mixing in the cookies and cream protein powder… oooo yeah!

Tbf the black one is OK, it just tastes a little less rounded than the regular one - better just adding protein powder to the regular stuff I think, but your mileage may vary. I have a spare black in the cupboard so will experiment tomorrow morning :)
