Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

A watch case which is surprisingly well made despite being £8.86 + postage from AliExpress. Glad I didn't go for the more expensive branded ones.

Switched over to optical to do some additional testing but needed a new cable, Amazon Basics only a fiver, build quality is excellent, so pliable

Testing for what?

Testing out an anomaly I noticed with USB connection from my mobo. I think it's the mobo USB having noise but not really paid attention to it before as it's only audible when at extremely and unreasonably high volume levels and nothing is playing, at each volume increment there's a clicking noise as the volume increases. It's too faint to hear before 70% hence why never noticed it before and likely also existed on the NAD over USB too but never really did this test to confirm for sure.

The clicking does not exist when using optical, which tells me it's more than likely an issue with the USB connection to PC:

Obviously it's a non issue but just an observation, and unlike amps like the Loxjie A30, the Topping uses the same DAC across all input sources so the sound quality remains the same on all inputs (and yeah the processing of the AMP-UP DAC on the mobo has been turned off so it's just sending a pure optical signal out :p)

It's a bit bendy and wonky in places

Keep seeing people say this - maybe my middle class council is the exception, but we just drop them curb side on the 3rd of Jan and they are gone forever.
We dry ours out, chop it up and use it for kindling the following year.

But, yeah, even up here in the North if your council won't pick it up there are plenty of free recycling places about.

I think our last council you could wedge it in your garden waste which was a free pickup, our current council you can book a slot and they'll pick it up for free.

No problem with the council taking it away, more when you bring it in, it has a lovely net sock over it. When you take it out, you struggle through the doors, pines everywhere and general mess of it all
