Probably cos evolution has selected bees that prefer environments with fewer parasites!We use a blow torch for killing bugs in our bee hives, kinda - when cleaning hive parts (without bees in them) you scorch the wood with a blow torch to kill and nasties. Apparently bees also quite like charred wood for some reason

Search for Draper of Glastonbury and then let your jaw drop at the price. These were £85 which is crazy money but they're hand made, really comfortable, fluffy, warm and my plates are toasty and snuggly.I think they're fantastic
