Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

More bottles today. Not tried a Lagavulin yet, not that I can remember anyway. The 16 wasnt that much more than the younger stuff.

2 bottles of Cask Strength Port Askaig. One of my favs, its harsh as hell, memorable, but I love it

One to drink and one to keep

The 8 is better than the 16 imo. Both great, but the 8 is more interesting imo.

Are these any good? I have bad Raynaud's so am always on the lookout of ways to mitigate it. Are they any good? Ta

They get really nice and toasty! I haven't taken them outside with me yet but on maximum temperature they're giving me between 52 and 57c. There's four temperature settings and I'm currently testing battery duration on max temperature which is meant to be 3.5 hours. So far been going for 2 hours with about half the battery capacity used. On the lowest temperature setting it's meant to be 8.5 hours.

What's good is that both sides of each warmer have heating elements so you can wrap your hands around and get both palms and fingers warmed up. Some hand warmers only heat up on one side leaving the fingers cold. They slip into gloves too, I just tested with mine. Each warmer is pretty slim, about 1.5cm, but still fit into gloves but obviously with a slight bulge. They magnetically snap together so can be used as one warmer, and when you do that, the inside heat element switches off to save battery.

I was watching a video on different hand warmers before I bought these and the reviewer also has Raynauds. But I would recommend the ones I have over the warmers he reviews. Mine are the Ocoopa UT3 Pro and you'll find a few reviews of it on YouTube. Cost is £42.99. They also come with wrist straps and a USB adapter and can be used as a powerbank too. If I find that in very cold temperatures that I need the maximum setting, I might go ahead and buy myself a second pair which would give me 7 hours of continuous heat, but I'll see how it goes with the one pair for now.

Here's the video from the reviewer with Raynauds.

IKEA BESTA? Did you cut out some of the back walls to pass cables through since you stuck it on the wall?

Saw this was discounted and I've been pondering getting one for a while. Tipping factor i think was the sale plus an Amazon voucher i was given so all in all it only cost me £5. Mainly using it as a replacement bedside alarm clock however i need to pick up some bulbs now to use with it so if anyone has any recommendations for E14's and B22d's??? (standard bayonet caps) let me know

I didn't want to stump up for Hue bulbs for some of the bulbs I needed so tried out some Innr ones. Touchwood, they've been just as reliable as the Hue bulbs over the years but at a fraction of the cost.

Been thinking for a while that I would buy a 2.5-inch SSD for all my other game launchers and not having them on a HDD. Especially since the Samsung 870 QVO 4TB kept popping up on prisjakt but then I happen to see the Crucial p3 Plus at a cheaper price so ended up buying that instead ! Ordered on Saturday and it said delivery on Thursday, but it showed up on Monday already, and picked it up yesterday and installed it. Just need to get a heatsink for it later this week, since my MB only have covers for 2 of the 3 M.2 slots, which my OS and Steam are occupying.

Unethical pro life tip but if you buy them through Amazon and get critical mass, when they start going forward just pick the oldest one in warranty to replace against :D

I've actually had a 2 Hue bulbs dead after a few weeks, and then at least 2 go faulty in life (god knows how old!).

I see you made a cut out in the wall behind the AVR, but how are the cables from the left side crossing over to the middle?

Drilled through the wall to meet the front left speaker

There is a loop under the unit to front right

There is a plate /connection with a cable screeded under the floor to connect to the rear right and rear left.

Just went to grab the link and send they’re sold out. It’s a Xiaomi (!) 20 inch roll on luggage but it’s not saying not available in this region. Could probably pick up one in HK?

It was only £148 and all the others I’ve seen are 2-4x the cost!

That's a good price indeed, I've been eyeing something more fancy....and now FB is spamming me with all the ads for luggage. July makes a really nice "trunk" but they are like £400-500!
