Also bought an Xbox, my wife has been getting bored and fancied something to play games, i tried a Retro console thing, but she didn't like that. I then got Gamepass and a controller thing to turn a phone into a console, but the resolution didn't size great and she struggled reading text. All that research made me miss gaming and i'd sold my Series X before coming to Spain so picked one up since i'd already done the whole 2yr Game Pass upgrade thing. Not entirely sure when i'll play it though as never seem to have spare time these days!

I can see what you mean, for me he's seems a decent enough lad definitely on the spectrum but he makes the watch world mildly fun, along with the likes of Roman Sharf and even dare I say it, producer micheal they are making horology fun and interesting again. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole trax drama was for mutual publicity as they ended up having a very boring boxing match and now seem to be best mates :p
 
Ring video doorbell pro died recently, annoyingly a year out of warranty (2 years warranty they come with it seems), and was only on ring basic plan so no lifetime warranty under that plan. Ring gave me a 30% off code but decided to try out the competition, saw the Aosu doorbell pro 5MP offering similar features to the Ring, and had a wide angle 4:3 aspect ratio which I really liked on the Ring and offered the hard wire connections so no faffery needed to reuse the Ring adapter:

Problem is the 4:3 angle lens is not as wide as the one on the Ring, can't even see the floor directly below the door whereas I can on Ring and the horizontal width isn't as wide either so misses off one area of the driveway in the far corner that the Ring covered. Was nice being able to see a fox take a massive dump on the doormat or sit on my car roof previously.....

So yeah it's going back and I'll get another Ring and this time upgrade to the plus plan which covers all devices indefinitely.

The product and packaging quality of the Aosu easily matched the materials of Ring too though, and setting it all up felt like it could well have been Ring, so polished and easy to follow, the app is very good too.

It is, it's really weighty, feels very solid. The handle is just like their screwdrivers so very nice, the cutting disc doesn't wobble around like cheap ones do either. Yet to try it out yet though :D

I won it actually, although at a cost of buying tools. I can't find an actual price on one, there's some on ebay for silly money that people are trying to cash in on.
