Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Got to say I feel the same.
I can't for myself see a purpose for one. And they are very expensive.

Its the regular charging that gets me.

I used to think the same but having own one for 4 years now I see the benefits or at least these are the benefits for me.

Before I list the benefits I’ll start with the bad.

1 - It is a finite product, when the battery dies then the watch goes with it due to economical repair. Or the OS is too outdated to work with latest phone etc.

2 - daily charging

The good.

1 - instant alerts with haptics, I know no one need to know the instant they get a message or email or anything but it can be useful like banking app alerts or even severe weather warning etc like in an emergency. Instances where you don’t need to look at the phone.

2 - payments from it, like London Underground without getting the phone out.

3 - music and podcast. Leave the phone at home, just go for a walk or run with the watch. You can still pay for things too on the way home if you want to grab something from the shop.

4 - health tracking. Like steps or sleep. Which to some people is “I don’t need that” but last week I got a mild case of food poisoning on Friday night. On Saturday, I thought I was feeling fine and was in a restaurant sitting down waiting for my food after ordering. Must have been about 15mins since sitting down. Just relaxing when my watch alerted me with a message in the lines of “it seems you have been inactive for a bit and your heart rate is too high at 123bpm”.

So I took that as a sign to go back to my hotel and have a very early night.

5 - Due to the popularity of them and they start at £200, nobody will care if I’m wearing one. Whereas I once worn a Steinhart at a wedding, which cost £300, less than my Apple Watch, someone said “he is wearing a Rolex, photography must pay well!” So the perception of them to the public is opposite now to a traditional automatic.

Couldn't resist at £34.00!

I thought you’d end up with one, how is it?

Had a play and so far am very impressed with how easy it is to use and the first espresso's I've made have a good punch.

Will probably change after I buy a single speed bike, grow a moustache I can wax, an apple product and some very expensive scales though :D

A police car clipped my car last night driving back through some country lanes. His wing mirror swiped against mine causing some thick scuffs on mine, but nothing on his.

Both officers were very professional, friendly and apologised etc. Got their details but no need to claim because I suspected crunchy peanut butter would fix it.

So yes I bought crunchy peanut butter

The Calypso blue is to celebrate assuming it all went as planned.

Is there anything peanut butter cannot do???
